Who we are

This website

• This site has no analytics, no advertising pixels and sets no cookies.
• The contact page includes a form that does not submit to our servers or to any form provider. Using it opens a draft in your own email application, addressed to us. If you send that email, we receive it the same way we receive any email you write to us. You can also email us directly without using the form.
• Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. We don't use them to identify or market to you.
• Typefaces on this site are self-hosted. Loading a page does not call a third-party font service.

When you email us

We receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply, provide quotes and deliver work you've asked for. We don't sell it or share it for others' marketing.

When we email you

We sometimes send a small number of individual business emails to businesses at publicly listed business contact addresses, about a service that may be relevant to them. Every such email:

• identifies Plusone Technology and includes our postal address;
• is plain text with no tracking pixels or tracked links;
• tells you how to opt out: reply "no" and we won't email you again.

For this, we keep only what we need: the business name, the public business email or phone number, where we found it, and a note of what we sent and when.

Opt-out and our do-not-contact (suppression) list

If you reply "no", ask us to stop, or email [email protected] with "Unsubscribe", we stop emailing you and add you to our suppression list. We check that list before every outreach email we send.

To keep honouring your request, the suppression list keeps a minimal record: your email address (and business name, if known), the date of your request and how it was made. We keep this record even if you ask us to delete your other data, because without it we couldn't make sure we never contact you again. We use it for nothing else.

Clients

If you hire us, we use the materials and access you give us (such as photos, recordings, logos and account access) only to do the agreed work. We do not publish your work unless you give written permission. Invoices and payments are handled by a third-party invoicing and payment platform; we don't store your card details.

Service providers

We use third-party services to run the business, such as email, web hosting, invoicing and payment platforms, and AI tools used to produce client work. These providers may process data on our behalf and may be located in other countries, including the United States.

How long we keep data

• Emails and enquiries: as long as needed to deal with them, and for a reasonable time afterwards for our records.
• Client project files: for the duration of the project and a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Outreach records: deleted once they're no longer needed. Suppression list entries are kept as explained above.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (apart from the suppression record described above). Email [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
